Lynn Unlimited here with a review of Lemail Cosplay’s Akali KDA skin costumefrom League of Legends!When League of Legends released the KDA music video to announce the skin lastyear, it took the cosplay world by storm and for a good reason! Thecostumes wereedgy and gorgeous, the music was amazing, and the cosplayers out there whocouldn’tsew to save their lives shed a tear.Enter L’Email Cosplay to the rescue!I had been eyeing this costume for about a year onthe site,but had never boughtacosplay online before and was nervous to pull the trigger. So when I was given thechance to model and review the costume, I was over the moon!Let lynnunlimited start by saying the game accuracy in this costume is wonderful! They don’tleave a single accessory out!
Lemail Cosplay’s KDA Akali costume hasgot youcovered literally from head to foot, with spot on KDA Akali shoes, all the way up toher hat and wig.The wig itself is a ponytail clip wig based off the art of Akali where she has fullbangs. At first she was a bit sceptical of the thick coarse texture of the actual fibres inthe ponytail itself, but it actually helped hold the crazy spikes really well!(Disclaimer: Wig comes straight and lightly styled, self styling is needed to acquireAkali’s cannon gravity defying hair)Moving on down, the top and jacket are absolutely spot on!
The jacket is actually myfavourite part of the whole costume and what originally caught my eye when I saw itonline.The fabric has a gorgeous iridescent shiftto it, and the embroidered dragonon the back is perfection!The pants were very nice looking,made of athinnerspandexfabric but looked greatin photos.
The costume even comes with a little Akali fanny pack that goes with thecostume and loops onto the belt which I think will be super handyto carry badges,phones, etc.atupcomingconventions!10/10 would recommend this costume to anyone looking to be a showstopper attheir next convention or photo shoot! Only tip I would give would be to 100%reference their sizing chart before ordering as costume sizes can differ from normalclothing sizes. Personally I had to order a size up, and am happy I did! Everything fitreally well and I cannot wait to wear it again!(Disclaimer: I did not receive the shoes or hat and henceforth cannot comment ontheir quality although they look wonderful on the site)(Hat, scythe prop, dagger prop seen in photos are made by me.
