And now we’ll start with the most noticeable thing in a wig: the color: Ed ora iniziamo con la prima cosa che notiamo in una parrucca: il colore.
These pics are taken under the natural, non direct sunlight. We’ll just say I took them on the garden (at around 4pm) and took the pics. The wigs are not shiny at all. They both have a small, fake skin point in the center to look more natural, and look really high quality. The red one have different colors, it’s both red and light pink, to look more like the characters. They look a little different from the characters I’m doing, so I already planned to dye them a little, since I really love the effect and the characters pics are not clear enough, so the base color is more than perfect. This is the actual color of the wig, they may look different in other pics but these 2 are the ones that show better the color.
Le foto sono state fatte sotto luce naturale, solare e non diretta. Diciamo semplicemente che sono state portate in giardino (circa 4 del pomeriggio) e ho fatto le foto. Le parrucche non sono per niente lucide. Hanno entrambe un piccolo punto di pelle finta sulla cima della testa per sembrare più naturali, e si vede che sono davvero di alta qualità. La rossa ha diversi colori assieme, sono sia rossi che rosa, per rendere il colore più simile a quello del personaggio. Sono leggermente differenti dal colore dei personaggi che stiamo facendo, ma avevo già deciso in partenza di tingerle un poco, dato che amo molto l’effetto sfumato e le immagini dei personaggi non sono esattamente chiare; quindi il colore di base è più che perfetto. Questo è l’effettivo colore delle parrucche. Potrebbero sembrare differenti nelle prossime foto, ma queste due sono quelle che mostrano meglio il colore effettivo.
If you already know me or asked me a commission, you may already know how much I care about the wig net. I really think it’s the most important part of the wig, even if people may not know how does a nice wig net looks like, the answer is: EXACTLY like this. This is what I want to see from a wig. The net is incredibly elastic, comfortable and easy to fix around your head. There are a lot of wefts, and it makes the wig have a lot of hair, way more than other wigs, from different stores.
Se già mi conoscete o mi avete chiesto una commissione, probabilmente sapete quanto per me sia importante avere una buona rete della parrucca. Penso davvero che sia la parte più importante della parrucca, e anche se molte persone non sanno bene come sia una buona retina, la risposta è semplice: ESATTAMENTE COME QUESTA. Questo è ciò che mi piace vedere nelle parrucche. La rete è estremamente elastica, comoda e semplice da sistemare attorno alla testa. Ci sono un sacco di ciuffi, e questo fa in modo che la parrucca sia davvero fitta e piena di capelli, molti più di altre parrucche da diversi negozi.
The fiber of both wigs don’t tangle easily, and the red, since it’s more straight and short, doesn’t tangle at all. Both of them are created to be curly, so cutting them would mean they’ll not be straight, but a new curl will create from the short weft. They’re really soft, and they feel like you’re wearing real hair. I didn’t need to fix the curls of the wigs to make them look like this, they’re naturally wavy, so it feels so nice to not have them hard because of the hair spray or ruined because of the heat. If you find a wig for the character you’re cosplaying, you probably won’t need to style it more.
Le fibre di entrambe le parrucche sono molto difficili da annodare, e la rossa in particolare, essendo più corta e liscia, non si annoda per niente. Entrambe sono create per essere mosse, quindi tagliarle significherebbe non perdere i ricci, ma avere un ciuffo più corto arricciato a sua volta. Sono molto morbide e quando le indossi hai la sensazione d’avere capelli veri. Non ho avuto bisogno di sistemarle per far si che fossero di questa forma: sono entrambe naturalmente mosse, quindi toccarle da una sensazione molto più bella di avere ciuffi duri dalla lacca o rovinati dal calore. Se trovate una parrucca pronta per il personaggio che dovete fare, probabilmente non avrà bisogno di essere sistemata.
