Hello everyone!
Today I will be reviewing the Maika Sakuranomiya cosplay from Anime Cosplay Wigs!
I fell in love with Maika after watching Blend S, which is an adorable show that I highly recommend! It’s about a cute cafe and the waitresses all have different personalities to cater to different tastes, there’s a sadist (Maika), a trap, a loli etc! xD
I wore this costume to Boston Japan Festival 2018 and got some pictures for it. My photographer said he would take a while to edit photos so I decided to take matters into my own hands and edit them myself. I really only edited the brightness and made the purple of my contacts brighter because you can’t even tell they’re purple sadly..
Let’s get into the review!
So the costume took 16 days to arrive to the East Coast, which is an okay shipping time. The package strangely went through Chicago first, usually my packages go through New York. Then the package got stuck in Chicago for a week, then finally started moving again. But it’s alright! It arrived before my event thankfully!~
When I first received the dress! It came with:
-Pink dress
-Apron +bow
-Socks
-Gloves
-Hair napkin thingy
-Hair balls
I got a size small and everything fit nicely! My only issue was with the gloves, I don’t have a picture of them because I didn’t want to wear them since they looked odd. xD
The gloves had some kind of wiring in the top and made it poof out, which I thought looked strange so I didn’t wear it at all. I also found the arm part of the dress to be a little too tight and it was also hard to move my hands up and down.
Hair balls!
I didn’t use these during my photoshoot, because I had already bought bigger and fluffier ones. These are nice, but aren’t exactly fluffy. More like blue cotton fibers..
They are accurate though, but I just preferred my own blue fur balls~
The dress is button up and there is a zipper on the side. I forgot to zip up the zipper for a few minutes when i first changed into my cosplay but I wore bloomers underneath so it was okay! xD

The wind was quite strong that day so it blew my hair napkin thingy back quite a lot.. >< The color of the dress is more like the mirror selfies, I brightened these photos so the color got lightened.
I hope you guys liked this review, I will be doing another photoshoot for Maika soon in a cafe with my Hideri and I am so excited! I’ll be shooting the day after I get out of school, and I am just so happy because we get to eat while shooting xD
